Selection Process

Our talented curational team watches and critiques your films. There are monthly meetings where your film is discussed and a final decision is made before the notification date.

We take into account every film we receive, take notes, and give feedback to the filmmakers that didn't make the cut upon request.

If your film is selected you will be notified via the ‘Film Freeway’ website.

If your film is nominated by our panel, you’ll receive a unique ‘official nominee’ laurel.

If you’re an award winner, you’ll receive one of our bespoke ‘award winning’ laurels within your respected category. Festival winners will also receive an award certificate on festival embroiled paper. These look epic in a frame!
